How to configure system restore and create restore points on windows 7

 System restore helps you restore the computer back to its earlier or better point. This is a way of 

undoing the changes on system without affecting the files stored.

Sometimes, installation of a Software (program) can cause a slight damage to the system making the 

system to malfunction, uninstalling that program or driver might solve that program and cause 

another hidden damage to the system. System restore allow you to restore your computer at that 

earlier point before that malware was installed. This is done by creating a restore points when all 

the settings on system has worked correctly. To configure system restore, follow this instruction

below step by step:

Create a restore points

·         Click right-click on computer and click properties, in the task bar.

·         In the left-pane, click on system protection. Provide administrator password if prompted.

·         Click the System Protection, and then  Create.


Now you have successfully create the system restore point. You can create this restore point when 

this system newly formatted or bought.

To configure system restore.

·         Click system restore highlighted below.

 

·          click choose a different restore point from the check box and click next.

 

·         Select from the restore points created earlier.

·         Click next.

System restore will automatically start from there, causing the system to restart itself. During the 

restarting process, the system  restores to that restore point created.
